Our Story

Spring is in bloom, and Palm Avenue is where today's casual, confident and fun-loving women find the colors and silhouettes that celebrate the season. Hard to believe that it all started a half-century ago with a juice stand!

At the bright young age of 21, irreverent and enterprising socialite Lilly McKim eloped with publishing mogul and citrus grove heir Peter Pulitzer. Ditching NYC for sunny Florida, the couple embarked on a glamorous and colorful life in Palm Beach. In the shade of the citrus groves Lilly opened a simple juice stand. She soon transformed her citrus-stained clothing into a line of brightly colored shift dresses in an array of cheery prints. And her designs quickly became the unofficial uniform of America's splashy resort towns.

Fast-forward fifty years and Palm Avenue is blossoming with the newest sunny and delightful inspirations from Lilly Pulitzer, classic and eye-catching Trina Turk, and the exquisite prints and color of Milly -- just to name a few. And don't forget to check out Lilly Pulitzer Home Furnishings. Enjoy our beautiful bouquet for Spring!
